This new segment "Music Junkie 101" is going to be a monthly list of my 20 favorite songs to jam to for the month! Anywhere from songs that have a good beat or lyrics that get me in my feels. The month of August was one that brought songs from the past and new hits, so basically lots of shower concerts. WHOOP! So....Let's Get It.

1. Hang On, Hang On- Amos Lee

- Relatable to the emotions you undergo when you lose someone you love. Emotional stability suggested, but not required.

2. Iffy- Camp

- A good tune for a sunset drive.

3. Homeward Bound- Simon & Garfunkel

- If you are heading home? There really isn't a bad time for Simon & Garfunkel.

4. Glory Bound- Martin Sexton

- If you are sitting in a BBQ Restaurant that has a live band on Thursdays.

5. Lady Lie- Rainbow Kitten Surprise

- If you are sitting with your favorite people under some Christmas lights and just want to be hipster.

6. Go Gina- SZA

- If you know, you know. 7. Bambi- Hippo Campus

- Bop brought to you by Liv

8. Hard Wired- Shakey Graves

- It has honestly just been a Shakey Graves month.

9. Modern Jesus- Portugal. The Man

- If you are looking for something with a little more beat.

10. New Tide- Mo Lowda & the Humble

- Chill. Out. Take. A. Nap.

11. Mindless Child of Motherhood- Mono Mix - The Kinks

- When you realize tomorrow is Monday and you are still helplessly wondering what is going to get you to the weekend fastest.

12. Drumming Song- Florence + The Machine

- If you want to dance like nobody is watching.

13. Buzzing In The Light- Dr. Dog

- Burn your incense, lay on your bed, queue Dr. Dog.

14. Sometimes I Cry- Christ Stapleton

- If you are breathing right now.

15. Wildfire- Mandolin Orange

- One of my favorites to listen to when I'm just relaxing; normally before I head to bed.

16. Shrike- Hozier

- Check out Hozier's new album. FINALLY.

17. Wave(s)- Lewis Del Mar

-Bath Tub BOP.

18. Grave Digger- Matt Maeson

- Definitely a night time drive kind of tune.

19. Fluorescent Adolescent- Arctic Monkeys

- If you are looking for a Jam Session.

20. Midnight Rider- The Allman Brothers Band

- If the speed limit is above 50, also this song is not allowed to be played on a low volume.
